Getting Started

Well-maintained suburban home with a large green front lawn and landscaped yard

Start by selecting Get a Quote and telling us a little about your dogs, yard, and the service you’re interested in. We’ll review the details, provide your price before service begins, and get your first visit scheduled.

You can also call us at 412-205-8501 to speak with our Client Services Coordinator to schedule a meeting with one of our representatives in person.

No. As long as we can safely access the service area, you’re free to go about your day. We’ll take care of the cleanup, secure the gate before we leave, and send you a service confirmation afterward.

We’ll let you know when we’re on the way, complete a thorough cleanup of the accessible service area, remove the collected waste, and secure the gate when we’re finished. If the yard has more accumulated waste than would normally be expected during recurring service, an initial catch-up cleanup may be needed before your regular schedule begins.

For most households, weekly service is the best fit because it keeps waste from building up and makes maintaining a consistently clean yard much easier.

Twice-weekly service is available for multi-dog homes or heavily used yards, while every-other-week service is better suited to select lower-use properties.

We also offer monthly and one-time cleanup options when recurring weekly service isn’t necessary.

Your Service Visit

Yes. Waste haul-away is included with your service. We bag what we collect and remove it from the property, so you won’t be left with bags in your outdoor trash can to deal with later.

For everyone’s safety, dogs should normally be secured away from the service area while we work unless we’ve specifically approved otherwise. This helps us complete the cleanup safely and thoroughly without creating unnecessary stress for your dog or our technician.

We generally send a message about 20–30 minutes before arrival, followed by a service confirmation once the visit is complete. Before leaving, we also check and secure the gate.

There isn’t one set time because every yard is different. Yard size, number of dogs, service frequency, terrain, and current conditions can all affect how long a cleanup takes. We focus on completing the service thoroughly rather than rushing to meet a specific time limit.

If we can’t access the service area because of a locked gate, blocked entrance, or access code that doesn’t work, we’ll attempt to contact you and, when practical, wait up to 10 minutes for the issue to be resolved. We won’t climb fences or bypass locks. If access still isn’t available, the visit is considered a scheduled service and remains chargeable.

Yard & Weather

No problem. If there’s significantly more accumulated waste than a normal recurring visit would involve, an initial catch-up cleanup may be needed before regular service begins. If the yard is materially different from what was described when quoted, we’ll let you know before doing any additional work.

Normal Pittsburgh weather usually won’t stop service. If rain, snow, ice, or other conditions make the yard unsafe or prevent us from completing a proper cleanup, we’ll adjust accordingly and let you know.

We’ll remove the waste we can reasonably see and access. Tall grass, heavy leaves, snow, vegetation, standing water, or debris can hide waste, so some items may remain until conditions improve.

Usually, yes. We service plenty of yards with slopes and uneven ground. If the terrain is unusually difficult or creates a safety concern, we may need to adjust the service area or pricing before continuing.

We’ll service the areas we can safely and reasonably access. Locked sections, blocked areas, heavy vegetation, debris, or other obstacles may prevent us from reaching part of the property until access is restored.

They can. A light covering usually isn’t an issue, but heavy leaves can hide waste and make it difficult to locate everything. We’ll clean what we can reasonably see and access during the visit.

If severe weather or unsafe conditions prevent service, we’ll notify you and make a reasonable effort to reschedule or make up the visit once conditions allow.

Billing & Scheduling

Payment is processed electronically, so there’s no need to leave cash or a check for your technician. We’ll provide the payment details when your service is set up, and recurring customers can keep a payment method on file for convenient billing.

Recurring service is billed on a regular schedule rather than after every individual visit. Your billing amount and cycle will be confirmed when service begins, and any approved changes to your service or add-ons will be reflected on a future billing cycle.

Because recurring service is built around efficient neighborhood routes, service days may occasionally need to change as routes grow or are adjusted. If we need to move your regular day, we’ll give you notice and let you know what your new schedule will be.

Yes. You may cancel at any time. Contact us before your next billing renewal and we’ll stop future recurring billing. Your current paid service period remains active through its scheduled end.

Absolutely. If your needs change, contact us and we can adjust your service frequency going forward. Pricing and available service days may change depending on the new schedule and route availability.

If you give us at least 48 hours’ notice, we can apply a credit for the missed visit toward a future service. Credits are subject to reasonable limits and route availability. Late cancellations or same-day skips are still considered scheduled service.

If we’re unable to complete a scheduled visit because of weather, equipment issues, staffing, or another operational disruption, we’ll notify you and make a reasonable effort to reschedule and make up the missed service.

Just let us know. The number of dogs is one of the factors used to determine pricing, so adding or removing a dog may change your service rate. We’ll confirm any pricing adjustment with you before it takes effect.

Holiday schedules may occasionally require us to move your normal service day. If that happens, we’ll let you know in advance and provide the updated schedule.
